Only 27% of Belarusians think Crimea is occupied by Russia

27% of Belarusians think that Crimea is ‘occupied’ by the Kremlin. 57.8% think that the annexation by Russia is ‘the return of Russian lands and restoration of historical justice’, an IISEPS survey conducted in March showed. The numbers were similar a year ago: 26.5% and 57.4%.

 

43.7% of the pollees admitted that Russia and Ukraine were at war. 75% think that there is a civil war in Ukraine. Over 51% of Belarusians believe that Ukraine is to blame for failing to stick to Minsk agreements, 23.6% accused the West and 20.8% – Russia.
