Opposition activist Maksim Vinyarski to stand trial in Minsk today
The European Belarus activist will stand trial in Minsk Soviet District Court, human rights defender Yuliya Stsyapanava reports.
It is not clear when the hearing will start so activists will be waiting near the building starting from 10 a.m.
Vinyarski was detained in Bahdanovich Street on his way to Kurapaty Tract. Activists organized community work there. The activist may be accused of hooliganism.
Vinyarski went on hunger strike during his previous arrest on the eve of the Ice Hockey World Championship.
