Lukashenka and Putin to discuss Ukraine in Moscow today

Alyaksandr Lukashenka will pay a visit to Russia on March 3. He will take part in the the meeting of the Supreme Council of the Union State and meet Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Lukashenka and Putin will discuss ‘bilateral Belarus-Russia relations’ and the functioning of the union state of Belarus and Russia. They will definitely discuss the situation in Ukraine, Russian President’s assistant Yuri Ushakov said.

Four documents are going to be signed after the meeting. They will regulate Russia-Belarus relations in social and migration spheres. Belarus and Russia will also establish the order of exchanging information about their travel banned citizens, BELTA reports.

Lukashenka will get Alexander Nevski Order from Putin today. The Russian President decided to grant the order to Lukashenka ‘for his great contribution into the development of traditionally friendly Russia-Belarus relations and bilateral cooperation in political, economic and social spheres in August 2014.
