Investigation Committee chief sees no politics in “Russophiles’” detention

Старшыня Следчага камітэта не бачыць палітыкі ў справах затрыманых "русафілаў"

The Investigation Committee chief sees no politics in the detention of ‘Russophiles’. "This is only three out of 85.5 thousand criminal cases for us,” Ivan Naskevich said in the programme “Let us figure it out” on ONT.  Russian website Regnum’s authors Yury Paulavets, Dzmitry Alimkin and Syarhei Shypshenka are accused of the instigation of national hostility in their anti-Belarus articles.

"Politics and the Investigation Committee are different matters. We do not think that the criminal cases are political steps,” Naskevich said. The cases were started when the republican expert commission proved that these authors were instigating national hostility.
