Head of Babruisk club Patriot Mikalai Mihalkou is detained

The head of Babruisk military sports club Patriot Mikalai Mihalkou has been detained, his brother (founder of the White Legion Syarhei Bulba) told nn.by.

 

Mikalai Mihalkou was summoned to Babruisk KGB on March 23. He disappeared after the visit and his car is still parked near the KGB office.

Mihalkou used to be an officer and served in a special air brigade.

 

His son Yan Mihalkou was detained on suspicion of preparation of mass riots on March 21. Other members of Patriot have also been detained, unofficial sources report.

 

26 people have already been detained for the same reason, state mass media report. Most of them are ex-members of the White legion and Young Front. Weapons were found during the searches, the police announced.
