FM Uladzimir Makei to Moscow for talks

Uladzimir Makei will go to Moscow to discuss "how to increase the effeciency of Belarusian authorities in the integration structures," headquartered in the Russian capital. The working visit of the Belarusian diplomacy chief is scheduled for February 21-22, reports the press office of Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Makei is to meet his Russian counterpart Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. They will discuss "the topical issues on the bilateral agenda," Belarus-Russian coordinated actions on the international arena and in international organizations. The minister will also talk about preparations for the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Euroradio reported earlier, Aliaksandr Lukashenka is at the Russian winter resort of Sochi this week. However, Vladimir Putin has no plans to go there.
