Experiment: Whose team collected more signatures within one hour? (video)

Tuesday, 28 July, 11:38. It is not a rush hour but there are enough bypassers in downtown Minsk. We boldly put our camera on the tripod in front of two pickets - pro-Lukashenka and the one collecting signatures for Tatsiana Karatkevich, an opposition nominee. We want to record everything what is taking place around. Just into five minutes, we are so involved in the competition betweem the two political camps that one hour has just flied by.

Mr Lukashenka's team is the first to get a signature. At around 1150, a young man comes up holding a passport. He signs for Lukashenka and... moves to the picket under a white-red-white flag in order to sign there too. The score is 1:1 - but not for a long time. Karatkevich's team is ahead literally one minute later — 1:2. Five more minutes later, a man levels the score — 2:2. Check out this action video to learn the final score.

A total of five people approached the pro-Aliaksandr Lukashenka picket within one hour of our surveilance. 34 people came up to pro-Tatsiana Karatkevich picket. We counted only those who stopped by the pickets for at least ten seconds.
