Electricity tariffs to increase by 31% on denomination day
The Ministry of Economy has decided to hide the electricity tariffs increase with the help of denomination. The information can be found in decree #43 of June 24, 2016 signed by Minister of Economy Uladzimir Zimouski.
The document changes decree #23 of March 29, 2p012. In particular, it says that the words ‘305 roubles for 1 kWh’ will be changed to ‘0.04 roubles for 1 kWh’.
The denomination will decrease the prices in Belarus by 10000 times. It means that the number had to be changed to 0.03 roubles. The increase officials have dated for the denomination totals 31%.
The prices will not go up after the denomination, the President said many times.
