Belarusians to stay in Russia longer without registration

The document, which will increase the length of stay in Russia and Belarus for citizens of these countries without registration, has been signed. Now, this period is 30 days. After the ratification of the document by both parties, it will increase to 90 days.

Belarus Foreign Ministry spokesman, Dzmitry Mironchyk noted in the commentary to Euroradio that the protocol should be ratified by both the Belarusian and the Russian side.

Mironchyk: "The protocol, which was signed during the last meeting in Moscow, must be ratified by both parties. It all depends on how our department, and it is the Ministry of Internal Affairs, will prepare a draft law and send it to the government, and then - to the National Assembly."

According to the Belarusian legislation, the Ministry of Interior has six months to develop the draft law.
