Belarus' military academy chief resigns

President Alikasandr Lukashenka on October 20 signed a decree to dismiss General Major Siarhei Bobrykau from the post of Belarus Military Academy chief who was elected as a member of the House of Representatives, the lower chamber of the National Assembly of Belarus. Bobrykau will now work as a deputy chairman of the National Security Commission).

The head of state on Thursday also discharged Uladzimir Izotka from the post of a Constitutional Court judge "due to resignation." Izotka, 70 was born in Russia. He served as a Constitutional Court judge since 2007.
