Belarus cuts export duties on oil and petrochemical products as of May 1

Effective from May 1, Belarus has reduced export duties on crude oil and petrochenical products that are moved across the border of the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union, under a resolution of the Belarusian government.

The export duty rate for crude oil is reduced from $130.8 down to $116.5 per ton. The duty on straight-run gasiline is down to $99 from $111.1 per ton; on finished motor gasolines - from $102 down to $90.8. The duty on the light distilled petrols is now $55.9 per ton against $62.7 earlier). The same duty is set for dieasel fuel, benzol and others.

BELTA news agency note that these duties are set to equal the values of duties set in Russia.
