Aleh Trusau reelected head of Belarusian Language Society for sixth time

Trusau headed the organization in 1999. Having been reelected again, he announced that it would be his last term, BelaPAN reports. Pensioners should not govern, he believes. He has become a pensioner only because he is planning to work for three more years in the position.  

Frantsishak Skaryna Belarusian Language Society was founded to defend linguistic rights and support the development of Belarusian Language and culture in 1989. The organization has over 6 thousand members in Belarus and abroad.
