About 600 children adopted in Belarus every year
Belarusian families have already adopted 425 children this year. It is 9 more than last year, director of the National Adoption centre of the Ministry of Education Natallya Paspelava said.
Belarusians are interested in adoption now, she said. About 600 children area adopted every year. 19 Belarusian children were adopted by Italian families in January-September 2016.
"The number will increase twice by the end for the year,” Paspelava said.
According to the information portal Dadomu.by, there are 4022 boys and girls who need a family now. Most of them live in children’s homes. Some children are being brought up by professional parents in temporary families.
