Pruzhany becomes 32 years older

The city of Pruzhany has become thirty two years older. The first record of the inhabited locality used to be 1433, but a Hrodna scientist Henadz Semyanchuk has found another date – 1401.

He found the earliest record of the city in the Teutonic Chronicle describing a crusade to the Belarusian territory.

“Republic” notes that Pruzhany tour guides are changing their information about the history of the district centre now.
